example, Sports, Business, and Entertainment. The site features quick
links to popular magazines, gift ideas and special bargains. Specific
titles are quickly found using the site's built in Search Engine.
Affiliates may link to specific magazines, categories and/or to
the entire site.
Ordering magazines takes seconds. Selected magazines are placed within
a secure electronic shopping cart -- and checkout is swift and
convenient. The automated ordering process requires only name,
address, and credit card information. Customers can order by phone or fax.
DiscountPress is the online newsstand of National Publishers' Service,
which has delivered discounted magazine subscriptions to employees of
Fortune 500 companies since 1980. Now, with the DiscountPress, the
benefits of discounted subscriptions are available for the first time
to the general public.
The terms of our agreement are :
- You agree to publicize DiscountPress on your Web site. This includes having at least one publicly visible text link or image link to DiscountPress.com on your site. Any links to DiscountPress.com will have your affiliate number in the link to ensure you will be paid commissions on all clickthrough orders.
- We will provide you with a choice of links from your Web site to ours.
- You agree to utilize only the prices we provide for
publications promoted directly on your site.
- DiscountPress will handle all publisher relations.
- DiscountPress will pay a 20% commission on sales generated
for websites that enter into an exclusive relationship with
us and sell only DiscountPress titles on their website.
- DiscountPress will pay a 10% commission on sales generated
for websites that are non-exclusive and sell titles from
other websites.
- DiscountPress will provide you with an online report for all
orders generated from your site. We will pay you, on a
quarterly basis
- You will be provided with a unique user id and logon password.
This will allow you to view the activity you have generated.
- DiscountPress will handle all subscriber relations.
- This agreement can be terminated by either party without
cause with a 30-day written notification.
- DiscountPress has sole discretion in selecting the magazines
sold on its site, www.discountpress.com, and may modify at
any time the list of titles (and corresponding prices) featured.
- DiscountPress will not be liable to you or any third party for
any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or services,
arising in connection with the execution, operation, or
performance of this agreement or the operation of the
DiscountPress Web site, regardless of whether such damages or
loss was foreseeable and regardless of whether DiscountPress was
informed or had direct or imputed knowledge of the possibility of
such damages or loss in advance. Further, DiscountPress's
aggregate liability arising with respect to the execution,
operation, or performance of this agreement and the operation
of the DiscountPress Web site will not exceed the total
referral fees paid or payable to you under this agreement.
- DiscountPress makes no express or implied warranties or
representations with respect to the DiscountPress Web site,
the partner program, or any DiscountPress products (including,
without limitation, warranties of fitness, merchantability,
non-infringement or any implied warranties arising out of a
course of performance, dealing or trade usage). In addition,
DiscountPress makes no representation that the operation of
the DiscountPress Web site and order pages will be
uninterrupted or error free, and DiscountPress will not be
liable for the consequences of any interruptions or errors.
- This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the United
States and the State of California, without reference to
rules governing choice of laws. Any action relating to this
Agreement shall be brought in the federal or local courts
located in Los Angeles, California, to the exclusion of any
other Federal, state or county courts.
Once your site has been accepted into the Affiliate Program, we will
e-mail you the appropriate links. We are looking forward to working
with you and making some money together.

agree to all of its terms and conditions.
